Company History:
Ronald Bergeron began his career in 1962 by clearing five acres of land in Davie, Florida with only a machete, an axe, a rope and an old Mercury truck. He then took his earnings and invested in a tractor to help farmers and clear tracts for cattle pastures. Later, he bought a bulldozer and helped make way for the housing boom before venturing into the quarry business and providing raw rock material needed for buildings and highways. In 1965, Bergeron Land Development was incorporated.
Safety Culture:
At Bergeron, safety comes first. We continuously update our Corporate Safety Plan which is implemented and monitored by our Safety Director. Every employee must complete the OSHA 30 Hour-Construction Safety Course and all workers, government inspectors, technicians and subcontractors on our construction sites must attend the Site Safety Orientation prior to being allowed on site. Our heavy equipment operators have been tested and certified as Qualified Operators.

Bergeron has the ability to manage all of the vertical and non-vertical construction aspects of a project, thereby reducing the risk of conflicts that often arise when working with multiple contractors. Projects have been awarded based on competitive bidding of lump sum, schedule of values or by design-built contracting.
